Do you know Felanitx?
As Wikipedia says, Felanich is a town and municipality located in the northeastern part of the Migjorn region, in Mallorca, an autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and borders those of Santañí, Campos, Porreras, Villafranca de Bonany and Manacor.
Felanitx stands out for its good commercial facilities for daily purchases, as well as multiple local products, such as good wine and Majorcan artisan ceramics. In addition, there is a market every Sunday, but there are also permanent booths that sell flowers and fresh products daily, except on Mondays, located in Sa Plaça.
It should also be noted that near the town of Felanitx you can literally see castles in the air. In other words, the Castell de Santueri dates from 1228 AD. and it is carved into the rock of the site of an ancient Saracen fortress. The San Salvador Monastery dates back to 1348 and was rebuilt in the 1700s. Both magnificent historic buildings are perched on the highest points in the mountains and offer views stretching for miles across the surrounding fields.
